The famous words, Only one life, ’twill soon be past; only what’s done for Christ will last, came to mind recently. The poem was written by British Christian missionary, Charles Thomas Studd. I thought I would share the complete poem here. As a bonus is the song recorded by Lanny Wolfe of which the poem inspired.
1 John 5:4

Christian Qualities To Wear
Obey, Prepare, and Be Blessed
On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather, but they found none. And the LORD said to Moses, “How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws? See! The LORD has given you the Sabbath; therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remain each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.” So the people rested on the seventh day.

Remember The Farmers
I sure liked what Dodge did for their Super Bowl XLVII commercial, to feature a moving tribute to farmers as recorded by the late Paul Harvey.
Thank God for farmers.

For Today And Everyday
“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.” —St. Francis of Assisi
